How to use

For use by trained healthcare professionals only.

Check that the blister is intact and within the expiry date before use.

Apply a tourniquet and disinfect the site using aseptic technique.

Insert the cannula at a shallow angle until flashback is observed.

Advance the catheter while withdrawing the needle, then release the tourniquet.

Dispose of the needle immediately in a sharps container.

Connect the infusion line or cap and secure with a sterile dressing.
